Hello Friend's of St. Edward the Confessor's Pre K 4 Ms. Zielinski and Ms. Mechlin's Class,
Hello everyone! Our themes this week is our Grandparent's Day program we are practicing in the church where the program will take place), Spring, flowers, & Letter 'Xx', and our classroom Caterpillar!!!.
Our number of the week is the number 11 and our letter of the week is the letter 'Xx.
In Religion, we are discuss Chapter 23 “God Made Small Things.” We will sing “Isty Bitsy Spider’” read “The Very Hungry Caterpillar’” and discuss how if God takes care of small things, how much more will He take care of us.
In Reading our, letter of the week is the consonant letter 'Xx'" We will introduce the, upper vs. lower case, it has one sound (consonant) and words beginning with 'Xx'. We will also discuss how the sound of the letter ‘Xx is usually at the end of words like ‘fox’, etc. In addition, we will also read and sing ‘Xx’ stories and songs.
In Math, we will be studying the number 11. We will trace & write number 11 as well as play math games grouping items by tens.
Last week our star of the week was Catherine Falati! This week our star of the week is Beau Manale! Congratulations Beau!
